Reflexology and Massage
Reflexology relieves headaches and migraines, improves blood circulation, activates the body's self-healing process, and reduces stress and tension.
How Does Reflexology Help
Reflexology is a non-invasive complementary health therapy offering customized sessions that include warm towel wraps with additional options for hand/foot soaks, milk baths, paraffin wax treatment, and aromatherapy.
It helps improve blood circulation, activates the self-healing process, reduces stress and tension, relieves headaches/migraines, and promotes relaxation and pain relief.
The recommended course to sustain homeostasis is one visit a week for 6 weeks, then maintained with a "tune-up" once a month.
While there are several points along the feet that can serve to relieve these symptoms, the primary one is known as Tai Chong. This is especially important because it runs along the meridian of the liver, which is key of ensuring that energy is running smoothly through the body.
Several areas of the body are thought to be connected to the internal organs, brain, blood circulation, and nerve function by your life force called the Qi (pronounced chee). The Qi flows through various meridians in the body from the feet to the head.
When the Qi is blocked, a corresponding illness or dysfunction occurs in certain bodily functions. Massaging the appropriate physical region unblocks the flow of Qi and brings the body back into a healthy balance.
